Hello world!… Read on and be warned

Hi everyone!

I am starting on a positive and hopeful note, but really deep inside I fear that “everyone” will consist of my Hubby. Well, here I go. I figured I spend my time reading other people’s blog, so maybe I should try my hand at my own…

If you are reading this, would love a quick comments (good or bad!), Thanks!

First off, a couple of warnings:

1) For those of you who do not know me well, or cannot read the name of the blog, I am French. Although I have been living and working in Ireland for over 15 years now, I beg for your forgiveness should my English go somewhat “caca” at times. Some would say it is part of my charm (some!).

2) I am new at this blogging thing! I am also working full-time and the mother of Alice (7) and Tristan (4), so I sadly do not have too much time to polish this… Except very late/early at night, when my brain goes on over-drive, which is why most of the posts will probably appear at odd hours! (or normal hours for my US friends!)

3) I am married to a RPG fanatic, and an altogether geek. HOWEVER, this blog will be focusing on much more down-to-earth matters: Sports (mostly sports considered odd by my Irish friends…), Reality TV (I am a shameless fan!) and my kids (I am a shameless fan!).
If you check out the BlogRoll and the Links (look this way => =>), you will find sites and blogs I love. All come highly recommended, either for their good value and choice or for bringing tears to my eyes (laughter I swear) Β in the small hours of the night.

Expect more links to appear regularly, as well as constant additions to the Photo galleries.

Much love,
Soph

  1. Your blog was absolutely unbelievably good, honest and funny. You read their facial expressions so well and saw just what I saw in them. I laughed so hard I cried. You are a talent to behold!!! I am a retired utility company office worker turned into reality show buff after retirement. I watched Ashley on last years Bachelor with Brad and felt sorry for her so was totally elated when I found out she was going to be on Bachelorette. She didn’t have a chance against Emily, who I didn’t dislike but thought was too fake and somewaht “plastic.” I saw trouble the minute I found out she had a child and Brad had never been married. Toxic combination–been there–done that!!!! I think Ashley is such a sweetheart and JP seems like such a great guy. I saw so many things that you saw–like the footwear–and thought it was just me who saw those things and that I was certifiably crazy for noticing those minor things. I guess that is when I figured you were a woman after my own heart you just had the talent to put it into your own words. Thanks again for your amazing blog on those two wonderful people and their love story.

It’s late, and I’m tired, so will think later in the week, but I do have to ask why you’re reading things that make you cry late at night – or are they tears of laughter?

Also, would Google+ not suit your needs? Do you need an actual blog?

  3. Yea! I get to be the first comment. πŸ™‚

I couldn’t summarise you in a single paragraph!
